Is there more to life than you realize
Do you help others and recognize
That life is not just about you
We are all in it together that is so true.

The years go by in a blink of an eye
What will people say about you when you die?
Will they remember how hard you worked
Or will they remember you as a jerk.

The meaning of life is to me
Sharing and kindness to be
A loving person who helps others

One who realizes that we are all brothers.

You are friendly, kind and caring
Sensitive, loyal and understanding
Humorous, fun, secure and true
Always there... yes that's you.

Special, accepting, exciting and wise
Truthful and helpful, with honest blue eyes
Confiding, forgiving, cheerful and bright
Yes that's you... not one bit of spite.

You're one of a kind, different from others
Generous, charming, but not one that smothers
Optimistic, thoughtful, happy and game
But not just another... in the long chain.

Appreciative, warm and precious like gold
Our friendship won't tarnish or ever grow old
You'll always be there, I know that is true

I'll always be here... always for you.

Specially dedicated to my special friend who's always there nearby to my heart with me everytime.

Is it really true our love is over now?

Can it be time for us to say goodbye?

Too soon, it's much too soon, my love, for me;

You smile with ease, but I can only sigh.

We've shared our lives and given so much love;

I can't believe we're really going to part;

You're moving toward a new life without me;

I'm left with scars upon my broken heart.

Go on now, if you must; I'll get along;

How much it hurts, I don't want you to know.

I'll set you free without inducing guilt,

But as you leave, the silent tears will flow.

I can't be mad; I love you way too much;

I'll hide my sadness now, so you can't tell.

Sweet happiness is what I wish for you;

Farewell my love, I hope that you fare well.

I know I shall never forget how your hand touches mine.

The sky is full of shooting stars; I put my hand in thine.

And I shall sit when I grow old, remembering the while,

the poetry of your laughter, the sunshine of your smile.

There’re many things I shall recall as time goes drifting by;

the moonlight gleaming on your hair, sparkle in your eye,

your gentle way of teasing me, your words when we first met,

are things I’ll long remember while I am trying to forget.

I’ll close my eyes and think of how your voice sounds on the phone,

the silly things we talk about, the warmness in your tone.

I shall recall your pride and wit, your humor and your zest,

but the sunshine of your smile is what I’ll remember best.

Is this all we have together?

Is this what love really is,
Yelling through a quarrel
And making up with a kiss?

Why can't we get along?
Why do we have to fight?
We starve true love by day
And feed lust all through the night.

I wish we'd settle down;
I wonder where peace went.
Why do we pick at each other;
Why can't we be content?

If this is what love is,
If tenderness has flown,
I'm thinking more and more,
It's better to be alone.
